For sometime now the number of people deciding on a Caribbean cruise vacation has been on the increase; this could be a vacation of a lifetime because it will be one you never forget. What more could you want, with a complete program of daily activities on board the cruise liner, entertainment every evening and the wonderful beaches and islands of the Caribbean. Whilst short breaks are available, perhaps over a weekend period, the vast majority of passengers sail for seven days and sometimes in excess of fourteen but depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Everyone on board a ship will have individual needs and they can cater for them all, it is your vacation and it can be as quite or lively as you want it to be. If anything, you will have a hard time keeping up with everything that you can possibly do on a cruise liner.

It is always a pleasant use of your time to see what vacations on ships are available and see what choice of packages there are so why not start at the local travel operator for some advice. Almost every Caribbean island will receive cruise liner guests but they can't call on every one each trip as it would take to long so you need to look for a package that will call at the islands you want.

Remember that a vacation on board a ship allows you more opportunity to dress up as there are more functions than you are probably used too. For formal evenings and events a gown is necessary for women and tuxedo for men so that you can be seen in your finest and something you need to be prepared for especially if you are invited to the Captains table.

A common mistake is for families to believe that cruise vacations aren't very child friendly which couldn't be further from the truth as most have more activities for children than they do for adults. A wide variety of activities are planned for them so that you can spend the time to do what you like; trained staff will look after them so you can put your mind at ease while you are enjoying and relaxing with your spouse.

Couples can take a romantic Caribbean cruise vacation and you will have the holiday you look forward to on a vacation vessel that is for adults only. Honeymooners and couples celebrating wedding anniversaries can also have cruise liner packages tailored to suit them as well.

If you let the staff on your Caribbean cruise do their job, all you will have to do is enjoy the vacation, after all isn't that what it's all about.
